Hi, I'm Paul. I've been recording voiceovers since around 2000. My voice is often described as warm, approachable and natural in tonality, typically resonating within the 30s to 50s age range.

I've lived in Lancashire all my life so mine is a true native Lancashire accent, however whilst I do record a lot of Lancashire and Northern voiceover scripts, the majority of my voiceover work is delivered in a neutral British English style. I'm always happy to discuss voice-over projects and provide bespoke demo reads.

If you want some voiceover studio tech info, I use a Sennheiser MKH416 microphone (or occasionally a Neumann TLM102), a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 3rd Gen interface, Adobe Audition, REAPER, Izotope and WAVES plug-ins, Presonus Eris 5 monitors and Beyer DT770 pro headphones.

Typical jobs include radio, television (you might have heard me voice the ScS UKTV commercials in 2024/25), explainer videos, IVR systems, on-hold, animation (watch the eight WW1 BBC Bitesize animations I voiced), corporate presentations, medical narration, e-learning and character voiceovers.
