A sincere, likeable voice with a well rounded mellow feel. Not quite RP, he has a subtle northern-neutral accent that's difficult to pin down to any particular county - he might be from Liverpool .. or maybe Hull, you decide! Les is particularly well suited for informational material and commercials aimed at a family / general public audience. He's also an accomplished news narrator so can handle the harder subjects too.

However .. that's by no means all he can do! Whilst he sits comfortably in the smoother waters of the voice-over pool, he's more than happy to ride the rapids and deliver a wide range of more upbeat styles - dynamic, fast and lively, fun reads.. always with clarity and a keen instinct for emphasis.

Character voices range from cheeky young lads to posh old gents and horror wierdos .. best accents; General Northern, Scots, Australian, American and South African.
