Bosnian voiceover artists

The Bosnian language is a South Slavic language, primarily spoken in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is one of the three official languages in the country, along with Croatian and Serbian. The standard Bosnian language is based on the Shtokavian dialect and uses both Latin and Cyrillic alphabets, although Latin is more prevalent in everyday use.

When it comes to voiceover recordings, the use of Bosnian would depend on the target audience. For local Bosnian audiences or for productions specifically about Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian would be appropriate. However, for broader audiences in the region, one might consider the fact that Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian are mutually intelligible, given their shared base in the Shtokavian dialect.

Step 1: We're here to help! Whether you have specific voices in mind, or would like us to suggest options, a good starting point is to submit an enquiry using our online form. One of our team, likely Matt, Jack or Gary will pick up your enquiry and get back to you.

Step 2: We'll provide some suggested voices with associated costs, based on your brief you submitted in Step 1.

Step 3: Once you've decided on a voice we'll send over a booking form/quote to confirm. Licensing is an important part of the voiceover world because you are effectively using a performance - and our booking form/quote will ensure you're covered and have obtained the correct licenses, if needed.

Step 4: We can make the recording on your behalf. We'll check the script for any unusual pronunciations/acronyms and get an idea of the style you want the read, so the recording session goes smoothly. Alternatively if you want to be more 'hands on' we can often set up a directed session where we patch you into the recording session (typically using phone/Skype/Facetime audio). You can then listen in, comment and guide the recording as it is made.

Step 5: Prior to delivery one of our producers will check through the recording, tidying it up and removing any errors. We can also perform any additional editing you've requested, such as splitting into separate files, or encoding into a specific audio form (for example uLaw, aLaw, 8bit wav). We will then share a download link allowing you to access the recording. In the unlikely event you spot any errors we will rectify these for no additional cost.
