Studio 1 - Recording, Broadcast and Production Control Studio
Studio 1 is our most connected and flexible production environment.
Alongside all of the remote recording and production capabilities available in Studio 5, this space expands into advanced recording, broadcast and live production workflows.
Designed to support recording, direction, editing, mixing and connected studio operation, it allows projects to be managed from a single control environment.
Recording and Production
Directed recording sessions can be facilitated alongside more complex production requirements through multi-track recording workflows.
Access to multiple Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) allows projects to be approached using the most suitable production environment depending on requirements.
Audio restoration and repair workflows can also be supported using tools such as RX where required.
ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) can also be facilitated, allowing dialogue to be recorded and aligned against existing picture for productions requiring replacement, correction or additional performance recording.
Audio, Video and Monitoring
Audio and video workflows can be managed from a unified production environment.
Capabilities include:
- Audio mixing
- Video mixing
- Vision mixing
- Monitor mixing
- Speaker management
- Screen routing
This setup allows production teams to review and manage sessions while maintaining visibility across multiple elements of a project.
Broadcast and Live Streaming
Live streaming and remote broadcast workflows can also be facilitated.
Using a dedicated leased line internet connection, the studio is capable of receiving multiple high-quality live video and audio feeds simultaneously while maintaining stable performance across connected workflows.
This allows productions to coordinate incoming sources, support studio-to-studio connectivity and manage live content in real time.
The infrastructure has supported large-scale international productions requiring reliable, low-latency connectivity with external broadcast feeds.
Connected Studio Environment
Acting as a central production hub, this environment maintains full connectivity across our studio spaces.
Sessions can be operated across connected rooms and expanded where projects require additional production support beyond a single recording environment.
Direct control capability is also available within Studio 2 including:
- Lighting control
- Set dressing support
- Auto cue operation
- PA system control
This allows recording and production adjustments to be managed efficiently without interrupting active sessions.
Capacity
The space can facilitate sessions involving up to five people.
The environment has been designed to support collaborative recording, production and review workflows while remaining flexible across connected studio spaces.
