Renowned for a deep, warm, Gritty, Northern accent (from Sheffield), Gerard is used extensively by commercials wanting a truthful, emotive, natural sound.
Gerard trained as an actor at LAMDA. He has considerable experience in TV, theatre and latterly radio drama.
He has a good ear for accents and can cover most English dialects as well as Scottish, Welsh & Irish, general American and very good impressions of Sean Bean & Donald Duck!

Gerard is a professional actor (trained at LAMDA) living in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.
He has considerable experience in theatre, television (recently “Coronation Street” (ITV), Sherwood”, (BBC1), "The Crown" (Netflix), "Get Even" (BBC/Netflix), Emmerdale, (ITV), Happy Valley and In the Club (BBC1)) and radio drama for BBC Radio 3, 4 and 4 Extra as well as narrating documentaries for BBC1, BBC2, Channel 4, Channel 5, Paramount and The History Channel.
He has been voicing for commercials on major TV and radio ad campaigns, for clients such as Legal & General, Fitbit, Asda, Lidl, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, DFS for many years.
He can be heard currently voicing ads on TV and most Independent commercial radio stations around the world and imaging, idents and promos for talkSPORT.
Regularly heard instore for Morrisons, COOP, ASDA and B&Q
He's the trusted Onhold voice of DPD, The National Trust, Halfords and countless others.
His corporate work covers elearning packages for variety of major industries, including EDF Energy, The NHS, HC One, ASDA , The COOP, ABP and The UK Ministry of Defence.
He's also voiced in many PC Games, including "Desert Storm 2" and "Nexus: The Jupiter Incident" playing multiple characters, aswell as narrating three audio books: "100 years of Leeds Utd", the fantasy book "The Siege of Scarn” and recently, “The Compromise”. He's even the voice of The Sheffield Tram!! (Blue Route)!
