Nick Coady is a big man with a big voice.
At one end of the scale he gives a powerful script the ultimate in deep, biting energy. At the other end his warm, whispering, sensuous read always raises a few temperatures and pulse rates. He can sound friendly, reassuring and corporate, hard-sell rock 'n' roll, or un-nerve the listener with a cold, threatening, terse delivery.
He has been the deep, gravelly voice of countless movie trailers, and the calm, authoritative narrator on thousands of audio-visual programmes for both private and government sectors.
