About
Scott Joseph is a multi-award-winning British voice actor, writer and performance-capture artist with nearly 30 years of experience spanning advertising, corporate narration, animation, television, film and video games. Best known internationally for his acclaimed performance as The Emperor in Baldur's Gate 3, he combines vocal precision with a nuanced acting style that brings depth, intelligence and emotional complexity to every role.
His voice is distinguished by its warmth, gravitas and authenticity. Naturally authoritative without sounding imposing, it conveys trust, sophistication and reassurance in commercial and corporate work, while his exceptional dynamic range enables him to move effortlessly between humour, drama, vulnerability, menace and richly characterised performances.

He has also provided live audio commentary for major international sporting events, including the Paralympic Games and professional football broadcasts, helping make sport and entertainment accessible to blind and partially sighted audiences in the UK.
His contribution to accessibility has earned international recognition. In 2025, he received an Entertainment Globalization Association Hermes Award for Best Audio Description for a Series, recognising his scripting and narration of the acclaimed Sleepytime episode of Bluey for CBeebies.
