Occasional use holiday studios when you're away from home and need a studio!

Voiceover artists who hire out their studios to fellow voices

We're compiling a list of subscribers who are willing to help their fellow voice artists by renting out their studios/booths. For instance, if you're on holiday and urgently need to record something, this list could be a valuable resource.

Some of these voices have a studio they hire out anyway, but most voices on this list would be inviting you in to their homes to use their trusty booth - and would not normally hire out their facilities.

Bear in mind they may be too busy doing other large projects or on holiday themselves, but they're happy to rent out their space for the occasional use if they can.

Some voices will charge based on the context - a smaller cost if it's helping you out with an urgent pickup for example, or a full charge if it's a big ad agency footing the bill.

This page is only accessible to Voiceovers.co.uk subscribers. Please bear in mind any rates specified are confidential amongst our voiceover community. Some voices are VAT registered which would mean any fees will be +VAT.

Location: Plymouth, Devon (Close to the historic Barbican area) Likely costing: £100+VAT per hour including engineer to ensure you link up okay, and/or need a backup recording. If required: Tea, coffee, printing and a natter included. Also a hugely discounted rate is possible if you're just in the area and need a studio for a quick low budget radio ad etc. Get in touch and we can work something out. By mid 2025 the booth area should be workable as a completely self-drive space without need for an engineer - which will also be given a discounted rate for subscribers. Here's a pic of our 'booth' (Studio 5), plus top left you can see Studio 1 which is also used as a gallery/engineering area.
