Link up tests
If you've applied to be on Voiceovers.co.uk and have passed through our two stages of reviews, the final stage is normally a link-up test.
This typically involves a short 15-minute link-up to your studio using Cleanfeed. We will check your studio quality, confirm that we can link up with you successfully, and verify that you are able to record a local backup. We aim to record a snippet from a sample script for demo purposes.

What happens next
Once you've selected a slot for your link-up test, one of our engineers - likely Matt or Jack - will email you a test script. They will also send over a Cleanfeed connection link and any other information you may need - this may be done on the day of the session.
If you've not used Cleanfeed before, it's a way to establish a high-quality audio connection - very similar to Source-Connect, ipDTL, SessionLink, etc. It doesn't require an account to use; we will send you a link to connect via a browser (preferably Google Chrome). You may need to ensure you select the correct audio input and output devices according to your setup.

What if there are no slots left? Keep an eye on emails as we will be adding more slots every week or so depending on studio availability.
After the test
Following a successful test, it is our intention to make your information and demos available on our website and/or pitch you to clients for voiceover projects where we deem appropriate. We may also choose to offer you a Voiceovers.co.uk subscription.
